Hair Extension Methods

Micro Beads

Application: These are small copper beads that are lined with silicone to protect your hair. They are simply clamped down to small sections of your hair. In a full head you will receive 120 micro beads plus strands of hair.

Visibility: Micro beads are colour matched to your hair and are very small. Making them very hard to see.

Suitable: For most hair types

Time: Approximately 2 – 4 hours depending on your natural hair type.

Maintenance: Micro beads need to be moved up every 6 – 8 weeks depending on your natural hair growth. With proper maintenance and home care your extensions will last you up to one year.

Tape Hair Extensions

Tape hair is fast becoming Minque's most popular method of Hair Extensions! It is easy to apply and easy to maintain!

Application: Tape hair extensions are thin rows of hair that lie flat to your head.

Suitable: Thin to normal hair

Maintenance: Every 4-6 weeks

Time: Approximately 30 min – 120 min

Shrinkable Tubes

Application: These are small clear tubes that when heat is applied shrink, not melt, to your hair. In a full head you will receive 120 shrinkable tubes plus strands of hair.

Visibility: Shrinkable tubes are clear and are virtually invisible.

Suitable: Dry thick hair

Time Approximately 3 – 4 hours depending on your natural hair type.

Maintenance: Shrinkable tubes need to be moved up every 6 – 8 weeks depending on your natural hair growth. With proper maintenance and home care your extensions will last your up to a year.
